Update dates on projects - PHP4 CMS is restricting whats possible

Client has a custom built PHP CMS system, whcih has always worked pretty well. Except for right now, we have some problems;

1) the form to email does not work becuase this was built in PHP4 days and runs on EUKHost shared host servers, which do not allow for formmail, so it needs changing to SMTP mail

2) Each of the proejcts is date stamped, but whateve date I put in or series of dates it replaces the date entered with today's date.

In teh attached zip I have the PDF documents that show what the dates are that should be entered.

This is urgent and needs to be done tonight, I can provide full FTP access and MySQL access and access to the CMS.

There are 2 form to emails - 1 is a newsletter sign up, the other a contact form. For testing you can change the email address to yours and then mine to test before putting it back to the clients. I am a web designer and this is a subcontract job because I cannot do PHP coding.
