I am posting this on behalf of a friend who owns his own company but is new to RAC and asked for my assistance in helping him identify a new product. For ease of flow, I will use the term “us& we?? as opposed to “my friend??
About us: We are a US corporation and have been in business for almost 30 years. Our primary business has been producing and selling software and engineering services for businesses here.
Products we are interested in: Engineering software and utilities, Medical Software; Business software; software controlled devices (hardware run using your software); Process improvement software, Sales training Programs
Products we are not interested in: IT utilities, accounting software, inventory software., incomplete products, products not in English.
What we offer you: An opportunity to present your product to the western marketplace under your own name (if you select that option) and a fair compensation for your efforts and ongoing involvement in the product. There is no charges to you from us. We take your suggested price to us and mark it up and sell it. We will act as the sales and distribution company. we pick up all the costs of selling your product.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
