This project is a modification to an existing script that is coded in php. Right now the Conent Management System refreshes every page on the site once an hour. It parses each page to end in .html However, now that we have several thousand pages on the site it is causing considerable load problems every hour. I would like to replace this with a system that creates a refreshed page on demand, at most once an hour. So for a page that isn't visted for a couple days there might not even be an html page there. However, when someone attempts to access that url, it grabs the relevant template info from the database and creates it real quick before the user even notices. I think this should be done in ajax but I'm not certain.
