I want a small flv video encoding application built for my website (similar to youtube, except I only want the encoding part). Coder will be responsible for developing a simple interface where user can choose and upload a video to my website. Required formats are: accepted formats are mpeg, mpg, avi, mov, asf, wmv and ogg. to assure that file is encoded, I want to run it through two encoders, first ffmpeg and then mencoder an upload progress bar is required. The following media plugin software will be required: The software is FREE and can be downloaded from these sites: ffmpeg, ffmpeg-php, mplayer, mencoder [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] a video thumbnail will have to be generated. attached file gives more details. will have to integrate withing existing smarty system and must also display code to share video on other sites including myspace. no design work is required, this is just a test of functionality and video encoding quality and reliability. Coder must have extensive knowledge of tools listed above and flash video encoding. Only highly ranked coders need bud, unless you can show proof of similar successful projects.
