I require a script that at the highest level does the following:
* A customer will place an order either via PayPal or WorldPay (a subscription: if we say $1 for first 30 days and then $9.95 a month after that until they cancel)
* Post Affiliate Pro uses WorldPay/PayPal callback to credit the correct affiliate for the sale (and for all future recurring billing payments).
* After ordering, customer is presented with a form to send us their shipping address.
* Somehow, along with their unique WorldPay/PayPal subscription ID, their address is logged in a database
* A spreadsheet (text based) is automatically created containing all of that day's orders - containing customer's payment number (trial, first full payment...etc. so we know which package to send them) and that customer's shipping address.
* We then convert spreadsheet into Word labels for printing.
As the Post Affiliate software uses the PayPal/WorldPay callback, I'm not sure if we'll be able to add the functionality above through callback/IPN?
If that's the case, as a potential work around:
* A script automatically logs into the 'receipts' email account.
* Any unread email is considered a new order and processed and added to a new spreadsheet, with the correct address for each customer being added (perhaps via database look up)
* The script now marks any processed email as read so that it is not processed again.
The other thing I'm not sure about is how to 'keep hold' of the unique subscription ID from WorldPay/PayPal after the initial order has been placed, so that when the customer does submit their shipping address, their subscription ID is also added to the look up database.
However, there may be a much better way of doing this than the ideas I've mentioned.
We're hoping to launch the project late June, so if testing could commence within the next couple of weeks that would be great.
