I need a coder for an application that can parse current and past horse data from four websites to make a database: [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] and www.thehra.org.. Then there will be some mathematical analysis (Formula provided) to further populate the database with statistics on an ongoing basis. The database should be structured to allow searches based on any number of selectable parameters. There should in addition be a set of templates for pulling out data from the database. Search and template results will optionally be saved and can be printed or exported. It should also be possible to manually amend stored data in the database. Such amendments should be logged and can be [url removed, login to view] addition, the application is expected to have the capacity for calculating impact values (formula available) and may have the capacity to utilise neural network and genetic algorithms (The neural and genetic aspect is not compulsory).
The data will include (there may be very few additions): Dates, courses, times, draws, distances, form, Horse names, race names, Horse ages, Pedigrees , Long handicap , head gear, number of days since last race, number of runners, Where are the stalls placed, Trainers, Jockeys, weight carried in pounds, weight claimed by jockey in pounds, Official ratings, final times, race comments, Spotlight comments, Ground Going, forecasted odds, actual odds, forecast winners, racingpost ratings, Topspeed ratings, BHA ratings, results, prize moneys, classes, number of runners, non-runners, Trip information, price movements and Trends. The statistics to be generated will be divulged only to the chosen coder. The application should allow a user to run different "What if" scenarios against the database. For example what is the win rate for the top rated three horses with odds of less or more than 4/1 in races with more or less than 6 runners? So, this application will parse, organise, analyse and display(so there should be a GUI) data.
