We would like a clone of [url removed, login to view] done. Since that website is down right now, I will give you a basic description of what it looked like. To get a basic sense, try going:
[url removed, login to view]
I actually thought of this idea before the guys at DotTheLife partially implemented it. It's basically a site that has a dynamic timeline that you can drag left and write with your mouse. You have the ability to zoom in and out, but overall the main component of the site is a draggable timeline. Now, the point of the site is for users to drag in things (whether it be text, pictures, links to an audio file, audio files itself, links to a video file, even video files) onto the timeline. Why? Well, it's kind of like a personal diary, a blog, and a memoir all meshed
[url removed, login to view] used to be a place where users can post events relevant to their life. There was one master timeline that was publicly displayed and users can either choose to add things to the timeline for free or pay a $1 to add links to promote their site. It employs my idea of this draggable timeline but does not go very much beyond this.
What I am asking you to do is to create something like [url removed, login to view] but keep in mind the following major changes:
1) There will be social networking aspects involved with this project from the start. Users will have their OWN draggable timeline where they can add text or multimedia items.
2) Users can choose to "overlay" their friend's timeline on top of theirs.
3) The site has to look very good. Web designer must be both good at backend and frontend.
There are many many other details that I am not going to disclose publically -- including the actual name of the project, revolutionary new ways of social interaction, etc. If you are selected, we will sit down and work out the details. I am willing to pay up to $2,0000 to get the frontend and backend done.
Demo is required before sending payment.
The first beta of the project should be fairly simple to construct using PHP, MYSQL, and AJAX. The maximum amount money I am willing to pay for the FIRST BETA is $2,000, not $2,0000 .. sorry, I typed in an extra 0.
