I would like to create a sub-category for staff admin on our osC platform that would limit a user in this category to access only some of the pages in the admin section.
Our OSC is heavily customized, so there are 10-20 pages that were not there to begin with.
Also, in some pages, we have several functionalities that these staff users should not be allowed to perform.
Currently, access to our admin is limited in the .htaccess file. I would also prefer to use this opportunity to change that to a MySQL based user level (Admin/Staff) login/access.
I'll need the chosen developer to create a table for users, containing usernames, encrypted passwords and admin levels and a simplified "file manager" that would accessible only by the high admin to list pages that can be viewed by the staff. I'm not sure how to list/control the limit on specific actions/links. Awaiting suggestions by the developers.
