Simple Bug Fix

Hi, We have a bug which our previous developer was not able to fix. This shoiuld hopefully be a very quick fix for someone who knows how to do deal with this type of issue. Essentially we have an online text editor program. We basically need to use this program for copying and pasting our HTML code into and other types of code within the business. The problem we are having is saving the data from the text editor into the database. It will save most characters , but not those which clash with HTML.
