Migrate Wordpress blog from one server to another

I have purchased and moved a wordpress blog from one server to another. The frontpage works, but all the "read more" links to the different posts does not work anymore.
Furthermore I have no access via wp-admin, but only through my server and phpMyAdmin.

I don't have access to the old server and no access through the WP admin page.
Perhaps the easiest would be to begin from scratch - that is I have the original dump of the SQL DB and a copy of the WP files? Perhaps I made a mistake when installing them on my server - and that is why it is not working now?
I need a fully functioning website - with WP admin access - after it has been fixed.
