We have a Magento site that has several store views, by city (Cincinnati, Dayton, Louisville, etc.). The store selector, when you choose another store, appears to switch views, based on some programming we have done to each store view. It is not really switching stores though, only the template calls bringing in static blocks.
The whole idea of having different store views is that we cannot sell certain products in certain markets. So if a product is not selected for a certain website, it should be able to be unselected in the product admin, and then would therefore not be visible on the front-end in that store.
The issue is, the site is heavily customized, and we do not have time to completely rebuild the site. We need someone to fix the store selector, so that it really changes the store views, and we can limit product and other blocks' exposure on each store view.
So we need someone who can fix it so that if I have a product only visible on one store, it only shows up on that one store in the front-end. The product also needs to respect all the other attribute setting per store, like standard Magento should.
