*** IMPORTANT *** UPDATED: 30th July 2004 I have updated our requirements for this project - Stage 2 has been added to this bid request as the requirements have now been finalised. Please make sure you re-read through our requirements - the deadline has been changed to 21 days, although will be bonus paid if completed within 14 days. *** IMPORTANT *** INTRODUCTION This project will be produced in stages ??" the first and second detailed here must be completed ASAP (delivered and tested within 21 days) as this is absolutely critical to an immediate business requirement. Upon satisfactory completion of these two stages, the successful coder will be invited to develop further stages of the project, and also carry out ongoing development and maintenance. Because of the urgency of the project, if a quality solution is delivered and tested within 14 days, then a bonus payment will be made to the coder. A member of our team will be available to communicate / discuss issues or queries with the coder, throughout this time period, for as long as is necessary to deliver the project on time. The requirements defined here are not definitive, but are our best idea of how we would like the system to look and feel, and are subject to change during the development period. STAGE 1 - PORTAL The first stage of the project is to complete the initial portal ([url removed, login to view]), with account / user management and record a full audit trail of activities. This portal must be similar in look and feel to our new concept web site ([url removed, login to view]), which is currently in development ??" it is also very important that the site is clean, looks very modern, and be easy to navigate ??" online help would be a bonus. A future stage will be to integrate the portal further into the concept site. STAGE 2 ??" STOCK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM The second stage of the project is to create a stock management ‘front end’, titled ‘Warehousing & Storage’ on their home screen (and is displayed only if access has been assigned) ??" this matches the name on the concept site. We have a back end stock control system, also in development, that this system will need to share / sync data with - this will need to be taken into consideration in the design / development of this stage. ** PLEASE READ THE ATTACHMENT FOR MORE INFORMATION BEFORE MAKING YOUR BID - SOME IMAGES ARE INCLUDED **
