I need someone to move two domains from my old leased server to a new one and make sure they are fully tested and working on the new server. I prefer an experienced Linux server admin who is familiar with OSCommerce. These domains include two applications that make frequent changes in MySQL databases: OSCommerce 2.2 on one site and MailResponderPro (a newsletter subscription program, written in PERL: [url removed, login to view]) on the other. The OSC site has a Thawte SSL certificate, which I would like you to migrate, too. The first site has about 1GB of files (700MB of which is music files and the like); the second site has only about 50MB. I will also need advice on how to manage the timing of the nameserver transfers, to minimize lost sales and subscriptions during the transition. Downtime on both websites needs to be minimal. The domain accounts have been created on the new server and the files have been transferred, although the files will need to be updated to match subsequent changes on the old server. The MySQL db's have not been set up. The old server is set up for PHP to parse all .html files; the new one will require that same setting for all the pages to work properly, if it doesn't currently have it. When this task has been done successfully, there will be about 25 smaller sites to transfer in a separate bid request.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
