Modify Virtuemart Product Scrolling Modules

I use VM 1.1.3 as catalog and the product images for the products are not uploaded - they are set as linked images in the register images (see screenshot attached).
The default product scroller and all product scrollers I tested can not modify the width/heigth of the linked images.
As the images are from different resourcey the size is different; for the Scroller I want to adjust a fix size for all linked images.
Please take the attached modules and modify the code in this way that I can adjust the image width/height for linked images for the product scrollers.
Currently it`s only possible to modify image size for uploaded images but not for linked images.
