I am looking to have a yellow pages type website built. It will be search engine type of site for all the providers my client has listings for. This means that a back office will be needed to enter provider information for results.
Searches will be limited to a field associated with each provider. The client will input specific search words they wish to be associated with each provider.
There will be several fields needed for each provider.
From the back office > the client needs to be able to create categories for providers and sub categories as needed.
County (drop down of static entries) -- also administered in back office.
Web URL if present
Back office will also need the ability to edit existing providers - hide them from searches as needed.
Back office should also administer place holders on the search engine front end.. giving client the ability to add - edit - archive entries in those place holders.
Back office should include a reporting section - showing all words web
travelers are using for searching based on day and hour. Also the ability to print out all the providers in PDF format so client can check for accuracy.
Searching should have a mechanism that makes suggestions to searchers if their are mispellings for search words.
There also needs to be search switches that allow the person to narrow the search just to provider names or the county the provider is listed in.
Search results should be display with providers in alphabetical order. Provider URL should be listed if one was listed in back office entry.
Bids will only be considered if the amount of hours for coding is included in PM.
