Joomla Expert needed - Full time position
Responsibilities
1. Joomla - Template Creation, Custom extensions
2. Sound Knowledge of XML, AJAX (a plus), JavaScript
3. Custom PHP Programming.
4. Shopping Cart Interfaces
5. Performance improvements using scalable architecture, caching techniques and tuning extensions.
6. Experience with profiling tools to understand bottlenecks.
7. MYSQL experience with creating indexes and optimizing tables
Strong experience in Joomla a MUST. Candidates should be well experienced with PHP, Open source technologies, java script, mysql, etc. AJAX experience would be a plus. Should be smart, a fast worker, and able to handle work independently with/without a team. Experience in Shopping Cart Interfaces, Open source Scripts are also important. Developer would be responsible for designing, coding and implementation of joomla based applications such as portals, social networks, marketing applications. UI design experience is an added advantage.
Experience with performance tuning and maintaining high volumes websites a must. Experience in resolving production problems with urgency is must.
Taking ownership with problems, running with it, providing solutions is a must behavior skill.
I had very bad experience with multiple service providers on elance and guru where they do only half baked jobs. I really need a technical expert for the long term(2 to 5yrs) who can understand my vision/requirements and deliver and maintain websites with high quality.
