Our company has developed a billing system for a garbage and sewage utility company.
The system has already been developed; we just need a few extra features added to it.
1. All of the features need to be able to have the option to search by account type. (Such
as when you search for a bill or customer you would have an option to search by an
account type perimeter.)
2. There needs to be able to be a reports option which will include:
a. Function to be able to run a billing (sales) report, based on time frame. (Search from
one date to another.)
b. Receipts Journal – Report based on the payments received. (Search base on time
frame as well as customer’s name.)
c. Function to be able to run an accounts receivable report to see how much the utility
companies losses were.
3. A function needs to be developed to allow the utility company to adjust customers'
bills. (For example if a customer is over charged, the utility administrator would be
able to adjust the customer's bill or if they are given a discount or credit)
4. Another option needs to be added to allow the utility company to be able to add extra
fees and a description of that fee, which would show up on their bill, to the customer's
bills such as a miscellaneous fee.
5. There is a function to add a new customer; it just needs little troubleshooting; the code
needs some repair. (The code is there, just need to fill in the missing piece.)
6. There needs to be an update and delete feature added to all options. (Such as
updating/deleting customers, payments, etc.)
