Facebook PHP AJAX Assistance

I have developed a facebook application from scratch, and require an AJAX expert to assist me with something outside of my comfort zone. I have a php function that loops through an array of images and uploads them to a facebook album. The function is 100% working however it is quite CPU intensive. Instead of the upload of facebook taking place in my PHP script and bringing my server to a crawl I would like to modify my script to use AJAX to loop through the images, upload them to facebook and then take the object ID returned from facebook and collate them all into a string to go back into my DB. I have created the ajax pages to upload the facebook, and upload to my DB. I now need a coder to show me the best way to put this all together on the target page client side. For a developer who knows AJAX and PHP this should not take more then an hour of your time.
