[url removed, login to view] blog, which is powered by WordPress 2.8.4, utilizes scroll down lists made of links for navigation purposes (seen on the right sidebar). These lists were built with Navigation List Plugin NAVT 1.0.34. This plugin is buggy and prone to crashes and loss of links.
I am looking for a different way to implement these lists while retaining functionality and look.
Your solution must be simple and 'bullet' proof tolerant to WordPress version upgrades, backups and restores. I'd prefer that it be non-related to WordPress mySQL database. It must be an empty vessel that I can use to create new lists in the future.
Perhaps the lists could be located in separate files of some format. I could edit these files and add links manually. Whatever I add always stays there. Then, these files somehow get embedded into sidebar via widgets or a snippet of code.
Hi Ive been working with Wordpress and Joomla for about 4.5 years now and have spent most of the time working on custom upgrades. Please check PMB for some additional details.
