Moodle GUI modification:
We are a small translation office and newcomers with moodle. Just have a fresh installation installed of moodle 1.8. We consider to use moodle as a platform for project management, not as a learning platform. We won't need the core component (tests and examinations) but all the other features will be welcome to keep contact with translators and clients and to manage documents.
In translation project management we will have similar roles and tasks as with e-learning courses:
INstead of courses we have translation projects.
Instead of course participants we have freelance translators
Instead of trainers we have project managers.
We need nothing more than a renaming of these roles (labels) in the system acc. to our preferences so that our project managers are not mistaken with "trainers" etc.
