I have a small business and I need a spreadsheet made that will help me with keeping track of prices of systems as their subparts' pricing changes.
I own a computer store. I sell computer systems that are built. Prices of parts change often.
Ideally I would like a spreadsheet where the first page has the parts broken down by category.
On following sheets, I would like to create systems, referencing the available parts from the first page. It would then total up the system with the latest available pricings.
As I get alerts from my suppliers that common parts are changing in price, I would edit it on the first page of the spreadsheet, and ideally it would change all the other sheets that reference that part number so I can see their bottom lines change.
I have attached an example sheet, without any of the referencing or dropdown functionality.
Is what I am imagining possible?
