We have a client who would like to store their documents online so their offices in the UK and US can both access them. We have found a program called afinian [url removed, login to view] which will allow them to do this but you have to download the file before you can open it and when you change it you have to upload it again.
I have no idea but is there a solution that can be developed for a Linux server with Apache, MySQL and PHP (its our server so we can install more) which will allow the server folder to be displayed as a hard drive on the user machine and allow them to open and save files directly just like on the user's hard drive?
