Event listing website upgrade

We currently update [login to view URL] with events through a back door page. Here is the list of things we would like completed: (1)The date and time of the event is shown in the main listing page of events, but when you click through to the actual event, no time and date are shown. (2)In the main listing page of events, make the event's details show up when the user’s mouse scrolls over the event’s title. (only show the first 20 words, and then say "click here for full details"). 3. When we update the events through our back door, we already have a large list or “organizers?? saved previously in our organizer database. Organizer information includes a [login to view URL] link "click here for a map". When you click on an event from that organizer however, you’ll notice the default address is shown but no “click here for a map?? link. [login to view URL] are some events that occur for 3 months, but only every Friday (Example, nightclubs have their special “Friday night??).Likewise, there are some events that occur for 3 months, but only Tuesday-Sunday. We need an option that automatically updates the event, with on click, for the 3 months on exactly those days of the week. 4. Added to our backdoor event updating page, we would like to add a box named “ticket information/guest list??.To this field we would add website URL links to outside websites that have ticket or guest list information to that event. Nightclub specific events would show “click here for guest list??. For all other events, it would say “click here for ticket information??. 5. Our search engine is extremely poor. It’s a basic database search. We need an excellent improvement and are open to suggestions. We would need two options for searching: one by events, and another by event venue directory. 6. Sadly, our organizer directories were compiled manually using basic html. We would like our organizer database to be automatically updated in a new “directory listing?? page. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform As mentioned above, this site is on a LAMP server and currently consists of a large Menalto Gallery photo gallery and a small Perl / HTML::Template calendar app which displays data from a very large MySQL events database.
