I want a new look for my companies web site. Currently our site is www.cmex.com. Specifically I want a new graphical look. I'm looking for clean lines, good use of white space, something very sharp and professional looking. I do not want to change my logo. Currently a large portion of the page is consumed by a flash image. I do like the use of flash however I don't want a home page with 80+% being devoted to the flash image as it is now. Use flash sparingly My goal in the redevelopment of this web site is to place emphasis on selling our services. What I mean by this is that rather than clicking on "make a reservation" and to be taken to a new page to start a reservation, I want the fields of the first screen of make a reservation to be integrated into the home page like expedia or lowestfare.com. Additionally, I want to remove all links from the home page involving employment, housing sponsorships, destinations west and I want to create a single link called "Corporate Information" that links to a different site. I want to remove weather and road conditions from the home page, and to be replaced with a link to that information. In order of importance the following are the objects I would like to see on my home page: 1.) Identity and Logo and 800 number 2.) Fields from first page of reservations screen 3.) Links to rates, schedules 4.) Links to educational pages like "resort access" and "airport shuttle service" and group access 4.) Other information pages like contact us, corportate information and news, weather, roads Some examples of web sites I like: [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], ual.com. I would also like to use more photography. I currently have some images that can be used royalty free, and any additional images you wish to use of skiing, golf, colorado, aspen, vail could be used if the royalty is low of free. In terms of the actual design and look I will leave that up to the designer as I don't want to limit your imagination. Even the arrangement of pages can be differently, i.e. resort access cna be called somehting else and laid out in different places as with rates and other information. Our company colors are red and white. The new site should have a home page, and the information from rates, schedules, group services, airport shuttle services, and resort access incorporated into the site.
1.) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 2.) All source graphic material, i.e. original source image files and flash or swish source files. 3.) Create a home pages and subsequent pages necessary to contain the content specified in the description, i.e. rates, schedules, etc. Note, no coding is necessary with regards to the booking process. We expect the designer to only place all the fields that are on the new reservation screen on the new home page with a next button, you do not need to connect this to the current ASP application, we will do that ourselves, concern yourself only with the placement of those fields.
I want to serve on an IIS server, I want to be able to manage the site using front page XP.
