We need to find someone to code a level Flash game with hi-score. We are hoping to merely establish a good contact and have you make one game for us to see how things go, and then establish a good relationship for further games/projects in the future. Bid request is meant for a list or an overview of how you would go about it to make this game for us. We will then choose the bidder that seems to suit our company and needs the best. Flash game wanted for danish client with International potential. Do NOT bid on this if you are unsure if you can do it. Do NOT bid on this if you can not provide link/s to previous work. do NOT bid on this if you are just a highschool kid who thinks it could be fun, but you have no experience. ______________________
About the game: 3 different point-earning levels (level 1-2-3) 1 endgame-level (level 4a-4b-4c) player chooses from 3 different options, only one is played. Same level and difficulty, but a choice of 3 different themes. 1 special level which can be accessed at any time, but can only be completed if he has collected enough money in levels 1-2-3. That gives a total of 7 possible levels, but player only plays 4 (since player choose only ONE of the 3 endgame options) plus special level. Endgame-level: Depending on how well he does he is ranked 1-2-3-4-5 Rank from endgame-level-result then shows one of 5 very short animations. If ranked 5 he gets to go on the hiscore. Special level: If acessed without enough points he is told to come back when he has enough points. If acessed with enough points he is automatically ranked 5, and very short animation is shown. He gets to go on the hi-score. Level 1-2-3 is free Endgame-levels OR hi-score is paid for by micropayment. (Charged by overtaxed sms-textmessages from cellphone to website owner). Like "if you want to see and submit your score send this message to XXXX for only 50 cents" There are 100$ prizes for "ranked highest on hi-score" every week, but only availabe to local (Denmark) players. Later versions could be same game, but with holiday or seasonal themes. IF the game is a success we expect you to be able to make more in the future. ___________________________ General info:
All work must be 100% original and have no restrictions on use.
You can decide of one of 2 options for copyright, prices and other things.
Read carefully, and clearly state which option you are interested in when bidding.
**Option 1** copyright:
You have the copyright.
We have the EXCLUSIVE RIGHT to use the game for as long as we wish at the agreed terms.
If/when we nolonger want to use it, you are free to sell it or use it to someone/for something else.
This means you can not make money of it as long as we are still interested in exclusive rights to use.
It also means you can not ask for higher royalty-percentage than first agreed, for as long as we are still interested in exclusive rights to use.
**Option 1** payment:
You will be paid 35-50% of our profit on the game paid in USD to your account.
35% if you are only the coder
50% if you are both coder and graphic designer.
Note: We will find a graphic designer to our liking if you don't have good artistic/graphic skills. The graphic designer is paid 15% in royalty payment. All graphics delivered as required by you.
**Option** 1 branding:
You will have a link to your personal/company website for reference for other potential buyers interested in custom made flashgames.
**Option 2** copyright:
Copyright will be assigned to buyer and the you will refrain from recreating the game style with same or similar characters, levels, graphics, purposes and overall function and/or look of the game.
This means you can NOT use anything at all from that game in new gamedesigns.
**Option 2** payment:
You will receive 1 time payment when work is finished and copyright is assigned to buyer.
**Option 2** Branding:
You will not benefit at all from our marketingplan with the game.
Once it is out of your hands, you can not make "spin-off" money on it ever again.
For both options you and buyer/renter will sign a legal binding contract provided by us.
This is just to give you an idea about what kind of deal we are offering on this.
Client website is an adult danish datingsite.
International expansion expected in late 2007/early 2008
This means if you choose to be paid in royalties, it could pay you a lot of money for a long time in royalties.
But note that you are not guaranteed any minimum payment.
About marketing and choice of payment (option 1 or 2):
Game will be used in viral marketing campaign.
Read about viral marketing at [url removed, login to view]
For short it's what happens when people are "telling friends" about something on the web. Usually funny videoclips, games and stuff.
High quality Viral marketing campaigns have a tendency to "spin out of control" and attract users from all over the world.
If you are unsure, try to search google for how many times games used in viral marketing campaigns are played.
If you choose the royalty payment-version, you are able to make money both from the game-income itself as well as the link in the game to your website.
Note: Additional information about website and client is given after non disclosure agreement is signed.
A short description of what we do is found at [url removed, login to view]
Site not finished, but text explains what we do.
For further details you are required to sign the non disclosure agreement provided by rentACoder.
Biddings for option 1 should be an absolute minimum, as "real" payment will be paid out in royalties when site and viral marketing campaign is launched.
Will answer all serious replies.
Please be patient if there are a lot of bids.
