hey I wanted the vhdl code for the following..... could you help me out with this..... --Design and synthesize a simple vending machine on the Spartan 3 or Spartan 3E board with the following features: --􀂾 The vending machine has four products. They cost 75, 80, 85, or 90, cents each. Use the slider switches (SW0 thro SW3) to select one of the products. --􀂾 Use two of the seven segment displays (or the LCD) to display the cost of the product entered --􀂾 Assume the vending machine only accepts $1 bills. Press BTN0 to pay for the product. --􀂾 Dispense the product by activating an appropriate solenoid (turn on an LED for 1 second to indicate the specific product is being dispensed) --􀂾 Using the other two seven segment displays show the change required. --􀂾 Before, or after the product is dispensed, solenoids should be activated to provide the change required (for nickels, dimes, quarters) ??" use LEDS to represent the coins, generate one-second pulses. --􀂾 For audit and stocking purposes the machine sends a single ASCII character ('A', 'B', 'C', 'D') via the RS232 serial port to a PC each time a product is purchased. --􀂾 Automatically reset the vending machine at the end of a cycle (BTN3 can be used as a master reset but note that the system should automatically reset) --Make any assumptions you think necessary and provide any additional features to make the vending machine as user friendly as possible (e.g. maybe using the LEDs or LCD in some way). --Target your design to a Xilinx Spartan-3 or Spartan-3E FPGA. Download to the starter board and demonstrate correct operation . look at deliverables...
## Deliverables
--A structural design using a package and multiple components (total, display, change, serial, etc) is required. --Include simulation waveforms demonstrating the correct functional operation of your machine. Also include schematics of your synthesized design and include a summary of the FPGA resources used. --Project guidelines. Multiple Files You should create multiple files, one for each of your modules ([login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc) and the top level [login to view URL] file. Each file will have an entity and architecture description for that module. Design and test each module (total, display, change, serial, etc) separately. You will also need a UCF file (see decoder and counter tutorials for examples). You will also need a package vhd file ([login to view URL] for example) containing your package declarations (constants, subtypes, etc) thanks john 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Windows xp... and on spartan 3 board.
