Prepare a quick report print routine to extract information from Storefront 6.0 (online shopping Cart) that isn't included in the Storefront reports. This version of Storefront uses SQL server.
I need from the products table enough information to conduct physical inventory of certain categories of goods. The Search Results output gives only the item description and retail price. I need for my purposes a report that adds the Product Code and the original COST. It would be nice if it was formatted to exclude the headers and left navigation menu so the printout will fit on a page and more products will fit as well. I need the pictures of the needlepoint to make sure I'm looking at the right item.
I would think copying the Search Results script, digging about to find the 2 extra fields in the right table and plug them in the script , and then stripping out the excess formatting wouldn't take long. Since I can't have my customers accessing this particular report, it will need to be accessed through the ssl management interface. Preparing a page for the administration area that looks like the Advanced Search page, but calls up the new report instead of the Search Results page should maybe take a little longer. The results should be sorted in product Code order, not in alphabetical order by Description
Visit the website at [[url removed, login to view]], then select Advanced Search, then pull down the Category of Handpainted Needlepoint Canvas and submit the search to see what I mean.
