I have a web site under construction (using Frontpage 2003)that uses MS access to store information about an item. I have used FP to create a page to upload the image of the item (using the insert file upload button in FP) as well as a page to input the data to the Database. I would love to be able to input the info and upload the file from the same page/form by using the file upload button settings that are in FP. This would allow me to store the location of the image file at this time and later request it from the db using the data base results in front page. There I could specify that coumn items to be hyperlinks and Problem solved...but according to MS it is not possible to upload the img file and input database info on the same form even though fp appears to support this?). Anyway, I need (1) to be able to upload information and images from the website , in a password protected area, then on another page generate a list of items from the db meeting a specific pre determined criteria. upon generating this list I would like to be able to click on some point(ie Stock#) in this list and open a small pop-up that would show the customer the image of the related item (and maybe a short description). I am somewhat familiar with access and asp and some SQL so I should be able to plug your application into my web with well written instructions from the developer. I do not require a fully functional application beacuse of the nature of the request, but I do require the application be easy to link to my existing website and db and include clear explanations.
1) Complete and fully-functional program ,complete source code of all work done. Due to the type of request the delivered application may require it be insterted to my existing web to operate but should be basically complete and ready to link to my web and db.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables can be sent to buyer and will be installed by buyer as they will have to be linked to the proper db columns.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Should be compatable with Front Page and should operate on a windows server.
