This site needs to function similar to ebay. People can enroll or register to sell or swap their items on the site. Multiple categories and the ability to search for the items of interest. Easy to use and PLEASING, PROFESSIONAL dsesign. Needs to be able to collect user information and track swaps and sales. May need Paypal processing as well. All items put on the site for sale or swap need to be assigned a product or item number. There should be functionality to allow business advertising banners to display depending on what the user is searching for. In the case of somone wanting to SWAP, it would simplay display the items for a few days and have an e-mail link to write the person for more info on the item. If someone wants to sell in an auction, it should allow people to bid for 7 days, making the highest bidder the winner.
