I am looking for a programmer who can assist me with an online database application. This application is to be used by a church cemetery to replace an aging DOS system. The requirements are: #1 - Application must be accessible via web browser from client station #2 - Application will run on a shared hosting environment (Linux,Apache,PHP,MySQL) #3 - Would prefer application to be created utilizing Ruby on Rails, but am willing to consider PHP/MySQL combo #4 - Application will need to be able to serve 3 separate cemeteries, provide reports that can be printed in a 4X6 format, and have the capability to provide lot layouts #5 - Project will need to go online in a "Beta" phase by February 1, 2008. I would like to see examples of your work and will be glad to answer all questions in further detail as we progress thru the bid process.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Beta phase to be installed on February 1, 2008, full completion by March 1, 2008.
The system will need to run on a shared hosting environment and that means minimal resources to run application. Servers are Linux based. Application needs to be compatible with latest Firefox or Internet Explorer web browser.
