A. We manage a centralized events calendar and require the ongoing assistance of a content manager to 1, keep information current and accurate, 2. manage the updating and editing of event information and 3. seek out new content from the various community and private organizational web site calendars. Our admin tool will allow the administrator to mange all event information. No programming will be necessary for part “A?? of this request. Specific duties include: 1. View and pull event information from approximately 200 web site calendars per month (2-3 hrs each month) 2. Post event information in our database using an existing administration tool 3. Receive new event listings from our submit an event form (approximately 10-20 submissions per month) 4. Seek new events to post in our calendar that meets our criteria (anticipate about 2 hrs per month) 5. Quality Control: Ensure all links and data is accurate prior to the Monday morning due date 6. Ensure that the event content reflects a minimum of 60 days out 7. Reporting: Provide a weekly report containing the following information: i. Number of events posted for the week ii. Name of the organizations listed and title of event iii. Number of member event submissions (see #3 above) iv. Number of new organizations added to event member list (see #4 above) v. The weeks that are covered with the latest content updates
B. The above is a temporary stopgap measure to ensure the current portal is providing a robust and accurate offering to our web site visitors while it is currently being upgraded. On phase II launch we anticipate the need for: -Developing spiders per organization’s calendar page, when possible to automate the event content acquisition, -Assist with new region’s organization calendar page research and content mining described in a previous bid request currently on hold entitled, (Online Researcher and Data Entry) -Expand data entry and content management services with each new geographic region that we enter, (10 new regions every 60 days) Bid response pricing should reflect only section “A?? above. The selected company however should provide samples that demonstrate an ability to accomplish both “A & B?? above. The bid price must reflect monthly pricing. Only responses that are accompanied with samples demonstrate an ability to grow as our demand increases will be considered. Please view our previous bid request, (Online Researcher and Data Entry) prior to responding. Mad Designer 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
