We are looking for a simple HTML format and associated CSS stylesheets for an educational company website aimed at final-year school students.
The HTML format must be extremely simple, so that anyone in our company can create new pages. You will need to clearly define the classes and write documentation that can be given to whoever will write the site content and HTML code.
The website pages will have the usual components (corporate logo/banner, Navigation tabs, Links column, Login box, content, footer, etc.) See attached file for more detailed description.
Obviously not all pages will have all the elements. (For example, the login box will only be shown on some pages).
We are looking for two different CSS stylesheets for this project, with the ability of the site to change its look-and-feel without any changes to the HTML (other than referencing the different stylesheets and new images folder if appropriate), so that we can continually refresh the site with a new look in the future without re-working any of the content.
You have to create the designs for the elements described and HTML code for 4 dummy pages as detailed in the attached file. The designs must be original.
As well, you will need to create a design for the buttons, navigation tabs, etc. and create the actual buttons and navigation tabs. The buttons and navigation tabs, etc., are to be created in Photoshop and full PSD files must be supplied. Since text in buttons and navigations tabs may need to be changed in the future (for example, new wording, etc.) you will need to provide us with a dummy Photoshop PSD file and clear instructions on how the new buttons, navigation tabs, etc. are to be constructed.
Very preliminary artwork for the company banner is included. Do not treat this as final artwork, but this project does NOT require you to create new banners.
Design must look good at 800x600 and above.
Website must be platform and cross-browser compatible.
This bid is for creating the overall look and feel, HTML code for dummy pages, buttons, and two CSS stylesheets. Documentation must also be provided for HTML creation (so that content / HTML developers can add to the site, and be compatible with this design) and for button creation in Photoshop (so that new buttons and navigation tabs can be created).
