I have 4 MS Access 2002 databases with a total of approximately 120 tables. I require this converted to a single MS SQL 2005 database.
This data comes from a live system that is being updated. I plan on testing the converted data and then I will need to get any additional data over from the live system. In addition to the conversion of the data you need to supply an MS Access frontend that will have links to the newly created MS SQL 2005 database tables and also links to the existing MS Access databases/tables. This frontend will need to have a form with required code to delete all data from the MS SQL 2005 tables and then copy the data from the MS Access database/tables to the MS SQL 2005 database/tables. In form that this will be initiated from should have an input field with browse so that we can browse to the directory containing the MS Access databases and click a button to update the links. The link to the MS SQL 2005 tables should be ODBC and the data source should be named 'ONCALL'. This will enable us to set the same ODBC source on our local system so that the migration frontend will work in our environment with minimal customisation.
1.) Complete MS SQL 2005 database backup or SQL to generate the new database and tables.
2.) MS Access 2002 frontend as per above details.
3.) Installation instructions
4.) Instructions on data migration frontend
