We are a US-based SEO firm looking to win projects on Guru.com. We have done an effective job on eLance but for some reason, have not won projects on Guru. We haven't even gotten word back from client projects we've bid on. This project entails:
-Giving us advice on how to win projects on Guru: including improvements to our profile, bidding strategy, proposal strategy, etc.
-Explaining how eLance and guru are different when it comes to winning projects
To bid, please cite:
-How many projects have you won on Guru?
-How long have you been on Guru?
-What kind of firm you are?
Thanks. We prefer native English speakers but any one will do. If we select you, the project is:
-A review of our profile and a few of our bids.
-A 1 or 2 page write-up of top recommendations to improve our success rate on bids
-A text chat via gmail chat (or similar) to discuss recommendations.
Our budget: $100.
Hi I've been at Guru for just over a year and been awarded 36 projects there with my writing, editing and proofreading company. I too found it difficult to get started there but there are some tricks I can share.

Your budget on this project shows why you aren't winning bids on Guru. I have won dozens of jobs there, but jobs posted by people willing to pay for quality - not just the lowest price.
