I have an existing web application based on PHP/MYsql application that I would like to have implemented on the iPhone as a native App.
The application is a simple web form with ajax based autocomplete fields and also relies on a couple of data feeds that resides on an [url removed, login to view] application will require a resident database table which is reasonably small.
I also expect the iPhone app's functionality to be a subset of the web functionality thereby making it a simple application.
The iphone App needs to work on both 2.2.x and 3.0
In 3.0, I'd like to use the push notification feature.
The application is a medical application for use in a small clinic with 4 doctors and 2 medical assistants.
The web app requires login access and medical assistants have restricted functionality. This application relies on patient information so a non-disclosure agreement may be required prior to accessing the internal files of the web app.
The patient information is available as a webservice and needs to be encrypted when accessed by the iphone.
On hearing from you, I will provide a link to a demo version of web application and walk you through the database architecture. Some tables will have to be synchronized over to SQLite on the iphone. I would like to hear your assessment of the task at hand. I also suggest that a thorough assessment is made before making a price bid.
