I have a VB6 app to which I want to add the capability of playing AVI video files frame-by-frame. The current app generates a sequence of monotonically increasing times, at a rate of about 10/sec, and I want to display the video frame that corresponds to each of those times as they are generated. The only restriction is that the video player code must be able to handle avi files that contain data compressed in DV format, such as those produced by miniDV camcorders.
The deliverable would be VB6 compatible source code for a function procedure that would allow the app to open a specified DV/AVI video file and display on a form the video frame corresponding to a specified time, passed as an argument.
1) Complete and fully-functional source code as specified above;
