DSP Guru's - this one will even challenge YOU! I am looking to develop a DSP solution to provide VoIP capabilities within an RF-based 2-way radio network. The DSP solution will need to employ some basic capabilities used in VoIP as well as some basic audio enhancement technologies and specific two-way radio technologies. These are: 1) An IP core capable of supporting TCP/UDP 2) An RTP VoIP format (I will provide some PC-based C++ code) 3) A PCM -> GSM -> PCM Codec (I will provide the code, but its relatively standard) 4) A DTMF Decoder/Generator 5) A Tone Decoder/Generator (these are specific single tone sine waves - not call progress tones). 6) Some basic audio functions such as compressor/limiter, equaliser, notch filter, low pass filter, high pass filter, band pass filter. The DSP solution you provide needs to be able to have its parameters set via an external MCU (something like an ATMEGA 128) and also be able to provide decoded DTMF digits and other items we will work out in discussions to the MCU. I have no real preference as to DSP chips (newbie in that area), but I am leaning towards a Texas Instrument solution - unless you have better ideas? Although not commercially sensitive, the information past this point is sensitive to me, so before any "real" discussion can take place, I will ask that you sign an NDA. However I will be pleased to answer any questions/comments you may have that would not be of a sensitive nature.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
