## Deliverables

**1 ** **Introduction **

Accepts that the Operation is ‘Multi-user’ and is able to separate Transactions by Customer

Accepts Customer Input via both EDI and Web based methods

Enables ‘best practice’ Warehousing Methods giving high Stock and Transaction accuracy via integrated scanned transactions

Provides high Operator efficiency via ‘Zoned’ stock locations and task interleaving.

Integrates administrative and financial tasks (such as invoicing) removing the need for additional data capture and ensuring accuracy

Makes available a flexible reporting structure from database driven systems

Makes available ‘Customer specific’ reporting via Web-based methods

We provide Bespoke Development on our product which ensures that any specific or unique requirement you may have can be catered for.

The system has Handheld and Back Office Functionality.

**Operator Log-on

** Users logging on to the system will identify themselves by the scanning of an ID Card containing a ‘Staff Number’ or manual logon. The System should then provide a menu of Functions authorised for that individual. An Operator should also be able to declare his location in order that the correct tasks (for that location) can be allocated to him.

**Warehouse Management Software

****Receiving **

This function covers the receipt of goods (normally by pallet quantity) from your Vendors and on behalf of the Customers. Products can be received in as Pallets, Boxes, Cartons, loose etc.

You can print a Receipt Note.**

Putaway

**This function covers the ‘Warehousing’ of pallets. This is carried out based on a Pallet ID and is Pallet based.

Default Warehouse Location’s can be applied to Parts.

quarantine Locations can be setup and used if required.

**Order or Instruction Capture (Manual / Electronic)

**Information regarding Customer requirements needs to be input to the System. Where possible this should be by electronic means (XML or WEB).

**Picking / Issue

**Functionality required here is to ‘batch’ the total stock required for a group of Orders with the goal of enabling efficient picking routines.

****Stock Relocation

** The object of this option is to enable the movement of Pallets from one Location of the Store to another. This may be required for non-system derived reasons such as rack maintenance or impact damage or adjustments.

**Load-building

**We produce a work schedule ??" so when a user logs in they can see what work they have to do ie Pick/Putaway which allows them to fulfil the order and drop to the appropriate zones.

**Invoicing

**The generation of invoices will normally be batched over a period. The definition of this period is included in the Customer Master File. At the end of this period the transactions undertaken during the Period should be multiplied by the applicable rate (Customer specific) to obtain an amount to be invoiced.

We use Customer Rate Sheets to capture all the relevant charges and we also provide a manual override facility whereby charges can be amended or new one off charges added.

Typically charges are calculated on a weekly basis. Invoices are automatically linked to accounts system.

**As stock is moved through the system we capture (automatically) a status, which can later be reported on (see Current Stock Balance Report) eg Pick, Put, Sample, Weigh etc (all functions carried out has an appropriate status).
