I am the webmaster for a Christian ministry website. A programmer friend of mine did the programming on the site in ASP, but the site cannot be viewed in Netscape or Mozilla, and it is very quirky when viewed on a Mac. I'd like the site to be made compatible with these browsers. I would be very happy if this could be done without changing the programming language from ASP because of the probable expense that would be involved and the fact that my ministry is fairly low-budget.
One more thing: I have so far been using a single page template for most content and have just been changing the content on the template when I put up new pages--it's basically just cut-and-paste. I'm wondering if it would be feasible to just tweak the programming on that main template and thus all other pages would be created from this new template.
The URL for my site is www.JesusFreak.com. I hadn't posted the URL previously because I wasn't sure at first what the stipulations were about posting URLs in job descriptions. The menu on the left side of each page is where you can see the navigation problem in Netscape and Mozilla.
Work and illness have sidelined me much of the past month and so I have had little time to reply to many of you over the past few weeks since this project has been getting responses. I have not abandoned this project but was not able via this site's forum to extend the posting deadline nor, at this late date (apparently about five days from the original closing date of the project) to extend the deadline. I do intend to contact (or re-contact) many of you who have written with inquiries, but it may take a couple of weeks, so please bear with me as I catch up on correspondence. I am still very interested in getting this job done.
