ACCESS 2007 BACKEND, WITH VB DOT NET ASPX WEB INTERFACE ## Deliverables This application is a data repository with live interactive calculations for the data entry user to make informed estimates and projections. Overall purpose is to measure management through various reports on the data. Input table Key is composed of 7 fields: Working Month - WM Working Year - WY Sub LeveL ID SPG FLOW INV Goals table = entered yearly by FLOW and may be modified or "stretched" - I have duplicated base data (88 records) for each month number in year (1056 total records). Metric table = "INV" or type such as Finished Goods, Raw Materials/Work in Progress and Variant against Source(or something similar) meanings not used. GEO table = Sub-Regions of Americas: US&C #909 = US & Canada LAR #916 = Latin American Region (literally South & Central America) <wbr /> countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, etc. LeveL table = Users DM = Data Entry input SCM = Supervisor Override Basic Switchboard: Add Data - Preload data prior to input by DM - SAP "Actuals" data is downloaded for prior month by country, sifted into Sub-Regions by FLOW (based on Profit Center numbers) kept in back-end and overlayed into the Input table datasheet form for prior month. Not yet complete A step through the monthly data entry input process would be as follows: Input Estimates button opens: Frm_DM CE Input tabs "User" DM selects Sub-Region, Working Month, SPG(biz unit), and FLOW(biz unit parts) they wish to enter monthly projections (on 2nd tab) for Current Month forward through end of year based on various measuring tools and "Goal" this is referred to as Current Estimate (CE). Last month's estimate (record) referred to as Prior Estimate (PE). Month Rollover button: at a set point in month CE will be "rolled" over for review by the SCM (analyzing 1st tab) this would include duplicating all records and designating them as LeveL-SCM, within the same input table, preserving initial DM input records for later reporting and evaluation - this is where it gets a bit more tricky, live and interactive due to the requirements of live calculations of variants in Prior Estimates, Actuals, Goals, and even [login to view URL] data, basically anything that can be measured out with a variance, difference or percentage - this is what I refer to as a dashboard with guage stats % & charts, that needs to recalculate itself on the fly as data may be changed by SCM or DM.
