This project requires the photographic collection of real examples of handwriting across a variety of physical categories. For instance, a photograph taken of a handwritten application form or of a paper invoice.
This data will be used to train smart applications and algorithms to better recognize handwriting in various regions and languages.
The handwritten languages to be photographed are:
Hebrew
The images to be collected will be handwritten by native language speakers and of categories including; application forms, invoices, tables, prescriptions, contracts, whiteboards/blackboards, traveler notes, and more. Personal Identity Information needs to be redacted before submitting the photos.
Participants will be paid at a rate of USD$10.00 per 100 successful and accepted image uploads
**Technical Requirements**
- The photographs must be taken with at least an 8-megapixel digital camera or camera phone / smart device.
