Sports Tournament Photo & Video Coverage

I am organising an indoor sports tournament and want to capture the full energy of the day on both camera and film. The brief is three-fold: dynamic action shots while play is live, well-composed team and group portraits between games, and a polished highlight reel that can be shared online within a week of the event. You will need to move quickly around the court, so a fast-focus DSLR or mirrorless setup with a selection of fast lenses is important; for video, I am expecting crisp 4K footage, steady gimbal work for player entrances and crowd scenes, and clean audio for short interview snippets. Lighting at the venue is good but artificial, so bring appropriate flashes or continuous lights if needed. Deliverables • 200+ high-resolution, colour-corrected stills (RAW originals plus edited JPEGs) • One 3-4 minute highlight video, colour-graded and mastered for social media (H.264, 1080p & 4K) • All unedited video clips on an external drive or downloadable link Acceptance criteria • No motion blur on key action shots • Consistent white balance across the photo set • Final video delivered within 7 days, featuring at least one clip of every participating team The tournament schedule will be shared once we lock the date; plan for an eight-hour shoot including setup and pack-down.
