I’m launching a spring-to-early-summer push that invites travelers to experience Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River—even while water levels are low. The heart of the assignment is positive, conservation-minded storytelling that balances encouragement to visit with respect for current drought conditions. What I need • A bank of fresh, high-resolution photos and short-form videos (reels, stories, and 15–60-second clips) that showcase sweeping landscape scenery and the many recreational activities still possible on and around the lake and river. • Social-ready captions and hashtags that reinforce Leave No Trace principles, local stewardship, and support for nearby businesses. • All assets formatted for Instagram and Facebook, with thoughtful pacing suggestions so we can drip the content through the season. Tone and approach Every shot and line of copy should celebrate the area’s beauty without hiding the reality of a dry year. Think emerald hillsides at sunrise, paddle trails, hiking viewpoints, live-music patios, and responsibly enjoying what water we have. A short hero video that threads these moments together would be a welcome bonus. Acceptance criteria • Minimum 40 edited photos, 12 vertical videos, and matching caption sets. • Consistent color grading that stays true to natural tones. • Clear visual or verbal nods to responsible recreation in at least a third of the pieces. • Delivery in organized folders (RAW + edited files) plus a simple posting calendar.
