My sendmail stops working every few days. It does handle quite a bit of traffic. I need a script that I can run every hour to make sure it's working correctly and restart it if it's not.
Not sure if I made this clear:
I want to check every hour to see if it's running and if the script finds it's not running "correctly" then restart it.
Here is the version info
Red Hat 6.2
Send Mail Version 8.9.3
can do this in 10 minutes for you.. would need access to the server to install the script as a cronjob.. you want the script in perl, tcl, or shell?.. contact me via pmb..
