We are using a CISCO uc520 phone system that is dumnping call history (extension , call , duration etc) into a syslog.
We require someone to take the syslog and dump it into something like mysql and get it email out a summary report to a predefined distribution list every hour (Mon-FRI 0900-1800).
If possible we need the abilty to change the distribution list and also change the frequency of the report.
Summary report will show
Username , Extension , total calls in , Incoming Duration , total calls out , outboaund duration.
We would also require a second report that would have the same fields as above , but be a detailed report ie list all numbers called.
The final report would be a management report which would show a sumaary of the call data in by user ie
it would be automatically (and manually if required) generated and show each users call data (call out and total duration) for each [url removed, login to view] could be in a graph .
We already have some perl code that takes the syslog and writes it to mysql but is seems to have developed a problem around date formats . It could however be used to work our what the data in the syslog means!
Job needs to completed and running on our MS Server 2003.
We have included the perls files and a sample of the syslog.
