We are looking for a coder to build a perl or python program to extract GPS observation data (FleetID, VehicleID, UTC timestamp, latitude, longitude, direction, speed) from a set of truck fleets using TomTomWork devices. Data should be extracted in semi-real time and/or batch mode. Here is the TTW API:

We want to read the extracted data, with appropriate checks that data is complete, into our MySQL database for which we will provide a schema. We would like you to provide good documentation. The program must be robust and have a design such that it can be restarted when it stops without fear ofmultiple running copies or data [login to view URL] must also be a simple web-based front end (Python Webware a plus) to manage the accounts used to fetch the TTW data.
