I want to understand which weaknesses in the mobile-network or ancillary services can be lawfully leveraged to pin-point that device’s current or last-known location. The end-goal is to locate the phone; the educational side-goal is to document the vulnerability chain that made the tracking possible so I can close those gaps later. You may rely on GSM / LTE triangulation, SS7 analysis, open-source intelligence, or other ethical penetration-testing techniques, provided everything you do remains within legal boundaries. Once finished, I need a concise deliverable that: • Shows the coordinates (or street-level address) where the device is presently or was last active, backed by tool logs or screenshots, • Explains the technical vulnerability or misconfiguration that enabled the trace, and • Recommends concrete steps to prevent unauthorised IMEI-based tracking in the future. I will supply the IMEI as soon as the project starts. Prior work with mobile-network security, baseband forensics, or SS7 penetration testing will be highly valued, so illustrate that experience in your response.

This is not a proposal.
