I have a working cocoa application that creates Microsoft Word documents and pdfs with an associated photo and saves them locally. In addition, each time a document is created an entry is made into a Sqlite DB. There is a "manager" window that opens up an NSTableView populated with the contents of the Sqlite DB. In that table, in the last column I have hacked some radio buttons to allow the opening of the pdf with Preview, the docx with Word and the photo with Preview. It works but is clunky and slow and could be, should be better.
I would like to remove the three radio buttons and replace them with two buttons: one to open the docx with Word and the other to open the photo with Preview. The paths to those files are stored in the DB.
I would like to implement QuickLook so that when the user selects a row and presses "spacebar" the pdf file associated with the row (from the db) is displayed.
I would like to have the row background color to alternate (gray, white, gray...) like in finder.
This is all very basic stuff but I don't have the time to do it so I hope it can be completed quickly and cheap.
I have attached the project and the DB (which lives in the Users Documents folder.)
