I have an existing iOS iPad application that I need features added to.
The application is for field technicians, they fill in the work they have done in at site and send it to the office all from the iPad.
I am wanting to add existing paper check sheets into this application as well.
The application stores all the local data with coredata with sqllite backend.
The ManagedObjects for this are all ready setup.
Features that need to be present in the solution:
Autosave of field when user goes to next field.
Field validation. Each field can have 4 possible types of data (Text, Int, Double, bool).
Portrait and Landscape mode.
Smart Layout - Have to position columns correctly when there is lots of equipment. (as example 10 compressors need checks must put first 5 in one table second 5 in next table.)
Edit - When user brings up check sheet again, it will load up all the values and allow them to be edited.
Locked - When A user presses save it must not allow then to edit any fields.
Comments - Must add a text area down the bottom.
Attachments, I have added what the database design is and a small and simple check sheet so you get the idea of what it should look like.
