We want to build a fast, scalable product catalog website (NOT e-commerce yet) that allows users to search products, view variants (size and price), and contact us to order. --- ### Key Requirements 1. Product Search (Core Feature) * Fast search that can handle 7000+ products * Search by product name, brand, and category --- 2. Product Catalog Each product should include: * Name * Brand * Category * Image * Description * Multiple variants with size and price --- 3. Product Detail Page * Clean user interface * Variant selection using radio buttons * Price updates based on selected size --- 4. Admin Panel (Very Important) Admin must be able to: * Add, edit, and delete products * Upload images * Add multiple variants per product * Mark product status as Active, Out of stock, or Discontinued --- 5. Have created auth using jwt, have created similar system where we can upload data via UI in a CSV file which is shown on an admin portal (bulk actions) 2. How will you structure product variants? It's easy we can have 2 tables with proper indexes and requirements filled based on data we need. Also we can have column based database if we are just looking for append only data. 3.
